CreativeTime at the Ice Rink

CreativeTime at the Ice Rink: The magical Christmas workshop invites you to join in

As part of the Mosel Wine Christmas Market, this year the ice rink in Traben-Trarbach is becoming especially creative: On three Sundays, the "magical Christmas workshop" invites families and children to design, craft, and participate together.

For this, a small, cozy area of the covered seating at the ice rink will be transformed into a creative workshop. Around the wintry ice skating experience, young visitors can relax there, get creative, and let their imagination run free.

In cooperation with CreativeTime and Blickfang Werbung, children and families can look forward to a varied creative participation program. Each date features two different creative activities. What exactly will be crafted, designed, and tried out remains a little Christmas secret – adding extra excitement.

Get creative, spend time together, and make memories

"CreativeTime" invites families to take a break from Christmas stress and shopping frenzy to get creative together. Whether designing, crafting, or decorating – here you can try things out, laugh, and of course take home some handmade Christmas piece or two.

This offering perfectly complements the winter experience around the ice rink: While the blades glide across the ice, nearby little creative Christmas ideas come to life.

CreativeTime at the ice rink will take place on the following dates each from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM:

Sunday, November 29, 2026

Sunday, December 13, 2026

Sunday, December 20, 2026

"With CreativeTime, we want to create an opportunity where children and families can spend quality time together. Especially during Advent, it’s not just about buying something, but also about experiencing something together and making memories," say the organizers.

Be creative. Have fun. Give memories.

CreativeTime and Blickfang Werbung look forward to many little and big Christmas artists!
