The Family Tour / Exhibition Talk at PETRI Berlin invites you to make exciting discoveries on the former excavation site at Petriplatz. Here you can explore, among other things, the remains of a 700-year-old school and the lost St. Petri Church.

In the child-friendly exhibition talk, you will learn more about the history and significance of the medieval school and church. Together you will investigate what the graves in the churchyard reveal about life in the past – a fascinating archaeological exploration for the whole family.

You will also learn how archaeological finds are identified and what happens after the excavation: cleaning, sorting, and restoration are presented in special workshops.
