Description

The FERROMONE FESTIVAL 2026: Color Explosion takes place in the Westphalian Salt Worlds, an experiential museum dedicated to an in-depth presentation of the raw material salt. The event aims for a deeper engagement with the visual and material properties that mineral substances, especially salt and brine, can exhibit. During this festival, visitors have the opportunity to explore the diverse aspects of coloring and transformation in the context of scientific phenomena as well as artistic interpretations. The museum's interactive exhibition areas create a dialogical platform where the complex relationships of light, color, and crystalline structure become sensually perceptible.
