Motivation
The initiative “Local & Delicious Rhine | Lahn | Limes” originated from the idea of the Apple Tasting Day by the Scheuern Foundation. The goal is to bring together local direct marketers under one roof and promote a sustainable regional product variety. The initiative is supported by the Economic Development Agency of the Rhein-Lahn district. The Gourmet Market is a visible expression of this approach and fits perfectly with the new umbrella brand of our district: “Diversity Rhine | Lahn | Limes,” under which projects and ideas can actively showcase the many facets of our home region.
