OPEN DOORS 2026 - Familientag bei der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Wels

At the open house of the Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Wels there is a colorful program for children and families. Hands-on 'interactive stations' let you try out firefighting tasks and provide practical safety knowledge for home or the workplace. 🚒

Technology fans experience robot and drone demonstrations 🤖 together with FH Wels, and there are modern emergency vehicles to sit in and photograph as well as historic emergency vehicles from the 1. Feuerwehr-Oldtimervereins.

Practical trainings are part of the program: crate climbing, fire extinguisher training and fire blanket, as well as a breathing-protection labyrinth to try out. At the info booth you can learn more about Feuerwehrjugend and about ways to get involved as a volunteer.
