Romantic Alleyways

Join us on a treasure hunt through Enkirch's historic fire lanes, which run from the Mosel through the entire town as designated fire-fighting routes. Alternating between historic cobblestone streets, paths, and stairs, this guided walk truly lives up to the motto "romantic, winding, picturesque." Along this tour you can discover many charming nooks and corners off the usual paths.

Our journey also takes us to the old fire station, the oldest fire engine in Germany, the former Prussian prison, the old "Duckes," and the ancient hospital dating back to 1338.

The tour ends with an invitation to enjoy a glass of wine in our local heritage museum.

From mid-May through October, every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
