When the monastery courtyard in Schöntal shines in sparkling lights, the Christmas market opens its gates on the second Advent weekend. Alongside a diverse selection of culinary and handcrafted goods, a special program awaits you in a beautiful setting.

Discover various concerts, exhibitions, crafting activities, and music groups, and enjoy the diverse children's and family program.

In addition, experience regional craftsmanship up close: delicate bobbin lace and weaving, artful basket weaving, floristry, woodturning, or lovingly carved wooden figures – there is something for every taste.

Also, delicious specialties directly from the producers are waiting for you. The Abbot Knittel Cellar in the education center, the forest school hostel, and local restaurants open their doors and spoil you with culinary delights in the historic surroundings.
