Smuggling Tour with Anna Grenze and Wilma Rüber
Description
Anna Grenze & Wilma Rüber, also known as tour guides Dorita Molter-Frensch and Sabine Petri, take a daring step. In the late 1940s, right in Germany's wild west, they risk a smuggling trip across the green border into Belgium. They’ve had enough of fake coffee and instant brews; what they really crave is genuine black coffee. Will their plan succeed?
During the tour, guests learn in an exciting and entertaining way more about the lives of smugglers and border guards, their worries and hardships. Their courage and cunning come alive again during the border hike from one side to the other.
The hike is 7 km long and lasts about 3.5 hours.
Register and get information at the Prümer Land Tourist Information. Registration is always possible until Saturday at 12:00 pm.
