Description

On October 24, 2026, everything will revolve around one of the oldest materials in the world. For thousands of years, humans have used sheep's wool to make clothing and other textiles. Even today, we appreciate the excellent qualities of this natural fiber and process it with large machines into knitting and crochet yarn, among other things. But how was the fluffy fiber turned into a durable yarn in the past?

We will explore this question together and learn how to use a hand spindle, taking ourselves back to a time when clothes were still made by hand.
