Description

At this market set against the beautiful backdrop of the Elisabethkirche, you’ll find more than just vegetables, sausages, and cheese. The Marburg and Surroundings Nutrition Council, together with Slow Food Central Hesse, has invited over 20 local producers and initiatives to offer their high-quality, handcrafted foods on Firmaneiplatz in Marburg and to share information about nutrition. You’ll find goat and sheep cheeses from small dairies, bread and cakes from a family-run bakery spanning generations, and special items like Hessian seaweed. Whether it’s meat, sausage, or jam, the products are free of additives and made with care. With sampling bites or your weekly shopping, you can connect and chat directly with the producers.

Food offerings include cakes, cold drinks, and savory dishes.

Enjoy your lunch and afternoon coffee accompanied by live music.

This event takes place as part of the Elisabethmarkt and is included in the Day of the Regions.
