The "Christmas Oratorio for Children" introduces kids (ages 4-9) to the magnificent music of Johann Sebastian Bach. At the heart is a story about the Christ Child and Christmas. The most important and vivid passages from Bach's Christmas Oratorio are performed, sung by the Stadtkantorei Lübeck with soloists and played by members of the Lübeck Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition to the music, children also get to learn about the different orchestral instruments.
