TOURS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS

The Kunstmuseum Bochum offers a diverse tour program designed for both children and adults, providing an immersive art experience. Specially tailored tours take place every first Sunday of the month and cater to art enthusiasts of all ages using age-appropriate language, creating a shared and inspiring encounter with art. Visitors are invited to dive into the museum’s varied exhibitions and extensive collection, which includes over 8,000 works spanning paintings, sculptures, drawings, and installations.

The tours offer a chance to view artworks from different perspectives and develop new approaches through dialogue. Topics explored may include the Fluxus movement with its unconventional methods or the city’s art collection, which offers comprehensive insights into the history of the collection. Participation in these educational formats is included in the museum admission, providing easy access to cultural education and aesthetic discussion.
