Description

Adlerwarte Berlebeck, located south of downtown Detmold, is home to 180 birds of prey from 48 species and is famous for its impressive flight shows. Eagles and falcons soar majestically above the slopes of Berlebeck and skillfully land in front of the audience. A panoramic terrace offers a perfect place to relax while children can play on the playground. In the outdoor enclosure, Skudde sheep and alpacas are waiting to be fed and petted. The educational and information center provides extensive details about birds of prey, the history of falconry, and the conservation efforts of Adlerwarte. The flight shows are a special highlight, where falconers share fascinating facts about the birds of prey. Visitors are actively involved, making the shows a unique experience. A shuttle service from the parking lot to the entrance is available upon request to make access easier.
