Alpine Coaster Imst
Description
The Alpine Coaster Imst is the longest alpine roller coaster in the world, promising lots of fun and excitement for the whole family. The 3.5-kilometer track takes you through impressive mountain landscapes with jumps, waves, and a 450-degree spiral—a real adventure for young and old alike.
Access is easy with new, spacious panoramic gondolas that hold ten people, are wheelchair accessible, and perfectly suitable for older adults and small children.
In the Hoch-Imst family region around the coaster, numerous family-friendly activities await you: gentle walks and hikes of varying difficulty, climbing, e-biking, mountain biking, trail running, and orienteering. Especially popular with kids is Buddy's Little Alpine Friends, a petting zoo featuring native alpine and farm animals at the Latschenhütte and Obermarkter Alm.
The family park next to the Alpine Coaster offers even more action with a bungee trampoline, quad track, e-trial bike park, and adventure playground. A highlight is the 85-meter-long wooden ball run at the mid-station—one of the longest in Tyrol—with mazes, cowbells, funnels, and more play features.
After all the activities, the cozy mountain restaurants with three huts invite you to relax and enjoy regional specialties like homemade dumplings and sweet hut desserts. For a refreshing cool-down, there’s also the Hoch-Imst natural swimming lake with drinking water quality—ideal on hot summer days.
The Alpine Coaster Imst thrills in both summer and winter with fast rides that bring fits of laughter and great moods for the whole family. 🎢🌲
