Arminiuspark Bad Lippspringe

Description
Arminiuspark Bad Lippspringe, inspired by the designs of the renowned landscape director Peter Josef Lenné, covers 6.2 hectares. The park’s final design was carried out around 1840 by the Paderborn landscape director Nölting. Today, the park appears in a changed form, with only a few of the original chestnut tree avenues remaining. Expansive lawns and impressive old trees that have grown into natural monuments shape the park’s character. A special highlight is the “Nebelwiese” (Fog Meadow), which illustrates the reduction of pollen spread under damp conditions through artificially created fog. Unlike many parks, the lawns here are open for walking, which is especially appreciated during the annual park festival at Pentecost. This event draws numerous visitors. The park also offers various playground equipment, which is especially appealing to families with children.
