Family beach

The approximately 600-meter-long beach offers plenty of space to relax – whether in a beach chair or on the lawn in the sun. For the little guests, there is a safe, lovely playground behind the dike to romp around in. All important facilities are located in the beach house: restrooms, a changing room, the DLRG office (staffed from mid-June to mid-September), beach chair rentals, a reading room with a fantastic view of the sea and mudflats, and the tourist information.

Near the beach, the courtyard café of the Schäferei Rolfs and the fish restaurant invite you to enjoy a delicious break. The beach is also the perfect starting point for mudflat hikes or walks along the water. Bicycles can be rented in town, and guided mudflat walks are also offered. Dog beach

For dog owners, there is a separate section of the beach. Although leashes are required here, your dogs can still play and romp freely – maybe even making new dog friends.

Activity beach

The soccer, volleyball, and basketball courts provide sporty challenges. Here you can really let loose and play exciting matches.
