Description
At the Brahmsmuseum, you can trace where Johannes Brahms spent the summers of 1884 and 1885. It was here that his Fourth Symphony in E minor, Op. 98 took shape 🎶
The house dates from the mid-16th century and still preserves numerous historical details:
- Arcaded walkway in the inner courtyard
- Finely articulated stucco ceiling from the first quarter of the 18th century
- Round-arched portal with coat of arms from 1696
- Bay-window-like side wing with corbels and house marks
