Description
Carl-Duisberg-Park is a park in Leverkusen. The park was created in the early 20th century and is located on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Allee in Chempark Leverkusen. It is named after Carl Duisberg (1861–1935). Features of the park include the tomb of Carl Duisberg and his wife Johanne in the form of a floral temple, designed by Fritz Klimsch, and the Caritas Fountain by Hugo Lederer from 1923. To the west, there is a Japanese garden on an island. In 2013, bronze statues were stolen.
