Description

Deutsches Fahrradmuseum features the most extensive and finest bicycle collection in Germany – from the running machine from 1820 to the most beautiful bicycles spanning over three centuries in excellent original condition.

The museum captivates with lively and creative traveling exhibitions that provide interactive experiences at various locations. One of these, Mobile Children’s Worlds – What Has Always Moved Kids, showcases historic children's vehicles and offers exciting hands-on activities where kids and families can playfully explore movement and mobility.

The exhibition Let’s Ride! – Two Wheels Through Three Centuries highlights the history of the bicycle through special exhibits, including a replica of a rideable high-wheeler that visitors of all ages can try for themselves. Other key themes explore cultural and social aspects like Women & Bicycles and Bicycles & Work, which will also fascinate older children and adults.
