Dümmlinghauser Mühle

Description
The Dümmlinghauser Mühle is a living piece of history, which reopened at the end of August after three years of restoration. The visible old mill wheel with its mechanics particularly catches the eye and is soon to be set in motion again, creaking to bring history to life.
Around the mill pond, you can enjoy nature and discover many different species of ducks – an exciting experience for the whole family! The mill also serves as a learning site for schools and preschools and offers space for workshops and events that promote education and community.
Special highlights include recurring events such as the Open Monument Day, concerts like Beat & Fun 🎵, as well as the Anknipsfest and the regular Sunday Mill Cafés. The barrier-free design of the buildings ensures even more access and fun for all visitors.
As one of the last preserved mills in Gummersbach, this place wonderfully combines nature experience, culture, and history.
