Description
Elektroskanzen Čechův mlýn is a technical monument of great historical significance, housed in the original mill and power plant building. Visitors can experience the history of technology up close.
The site lies on the Berounka River (river kilometer 77) in a secluded valley, surrounded by largely untouched nature below the village of Šlovice.
In 2009, the site was declared a Czech cultural monument. In a 2010 reader poll run by the regional weekly Raport, it was voted one of seven “Wonders of the Rakovník Region”.
