Description

Elisabeth Park was laid out back in 1860 on the left bank of the Passer. Today it impresses above all with a stately stand of old, tall trees 🌳, under which you can make yourselves comfortable in the greenery.

The centerpiece of the park is the marble statue of Empress Elisabeth, which was erected in 1903. The sculptor Hermann Klotz created it from Lasa marble, and it was restored in 1977.

Two jet fountains beside the statue shape the park's look. The statue is still admired today and is a popular photo subject 📸, including for many tourists.
