Erlebnisberg Sternrodt mit Allwetter Bergrodelbahn

The Erlebnisberg Sternrodt in Olsberg-Bruchhausen features its all-weather mountain roller coaster as a versatile leisure attraction. The facility is located at the foot of the Langenberg and offers a ride modeled on an alpine coaster. An upgraded playground complements the wide range of activities on site. The geographic setting in the region, near the 843-meter-high Langenberg, Hochheide, and the distinctive Bruchhauser Steine rock formations, adds to the quality and appeal of the location.

The infrastructure includes a high capacity, with over 300 people per hour, which efficiently reduces waiting times. Ample seating is provided both near the coaster and in the surrounding dining areas, allowing for a flexible visit individually or in groups.

The alpine coaster, built in 2002 by Wiegand Rasdorf, features a lift section about 300 meters long and a vertical drop of more than 90 meters. The descent stretches approximately 900 meters. Track heights range from 0.5 to 4 meters; heights above one meter are secured with walkways and safety railings. The sleds are designed for up to two riders and equipped with a 3-point seatbelt for the primary rider and a lap belt for the passenger. Integrated centrifugal brakes activate at speeds above 40 km/h, supplemented by manual brakes. The maximum total weight allowed per sled is 225 kg. Sleds start at intervals of more than 25 meters, with each rider controlling their own speed on the descent.

The coaster temporarily closes during extreme weather conditions for safety reasons.
