Erlebniswelt Neandertal offers an exciting blend of archaeological discoveries and nature experiences. The modern Neanderthal Museum, known for its changing and permanent exhibitions, is located right next to the historic Neanderthal find site. A Stone Age playground and the Ice Age animal enclosure provide a variety of leisure options. The multimedia adventure tower "Höhlenblick," opened in December 2022, offers an impressive view of the valley. On the platform, 16 Neanderthal bones are recreated, and a QR code activates a 360° video of the Feldhofer Cave. Geocaching in the valley and mini golf offer additional fun activities. Local dining options, such as Neandertal No. 1, serve regional specialties. The museum is designed to be fully accessible, with special programs for people with hearing or visual impairments, making the visit welcoming for everyone. Entry to the adventure tower is included in the museum ticket.
