Erlebniswelt Raufußhuhn - Riedbergerhorn

Hiking can be a real adventure for kids – especially when there’s something to discover along the way. That’s exactly what the new Erlebniswelt Raufußhuhn at the Riedbergerhornbahn offers. It combines play, movement, and nature experiences, while also introducing families to a particularly protected habitat.

At the mountain station, a large adventure playground shaped like a Raufußhuhn awaits. From there, a roughly one to one-and-a-half hour trail leads back down to the valley. Along the way, wooden ball run stations and informational stops provide variety and motivation. At the same time, a quiz playfully explains why Raufußhühner are so sensitive to disturbance and how everyone can help protect them. This transforms a hike into a shared discovery journey for children and their adults.

The Erlebniswelt opened on August 1, 2026, and starting August 2, the Riedbergerhornbahn runs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
