EXPI Hands on Science Center
Description
EXPI Hands on Science Center invites you to discover physics and natural sciences in a playful way – here the motto is "Experimentation encouraged" instead of "Do not touch"! 🔬
The exhibition features about 50 interactive experiment stations that explain topics from particle physics to classic physical phenomena in a child-friendly, hands-on way. For example, you can walk through a walk-in Ames room or play with a 2.5-meter high tornado that you can create and touch yourself.
Highlights include a four-meter-high 3D model of a tribar, an "impossible" triangle with three right angles, a writing pendulum, a walk-in pentagonal kaleidoscope, and a table that disappears when gamma rays hit it. The fascinating world of particles can be explored with models of the Large Hadron Collider, a cloud chamber to visualize radioactive rays, and much more.
