Freibad am Bäker is a charming open-air pool established in 1952, enchanting over 20,000 visitors each year – despite the water being unheated.
For more than 70 years, this outdoor pool has been a popular gathering spot for locals and is a highlight of every summer in Varel. Here you can enjoy your free time playfully and stay active with sports.
