Freibad "BeekeBad Scheeßel"
Description
Our family-friendly Freibad "BeekeBad Scheeßel" is open from May 1 to mid-September. Using the "biothermal" energy from a nearby biogas plant, the water in the swimming pool is heated to a comfortable 25 degrees C. Our friendly professional staff offers various aqua fitness and swimming lessons throughout the season.
Besides several swimming pools, the outdoor pool features 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, a large water slide 41 meters long, a giant chess board, a ping pong table, a beach volleyball court, a basketball hoop, a sandbox, a weather shelter, and two spring rocker devices.
The main swimming pool ranges in depth from 1.8 to 3.65 meters. The non-swimmer area (combined pool) includes a water mushroom, neck shower, massage features, and bottom air jets. It is between 0.6 and 1.25 meters deep and has barrier-free access. The children's pool is very shallow and designed in a kidney shape.
The large lawn and several seating and picnic areas invite you to relax. For refreshments, there is a kiosk located on the grounds.
