Freibad Tönning

Since 1964, Freibad Tönning has welcomed you to play, have fun, and enjoy sports in the water. Both locals and tourists love the 50-meter swimming pool with Olympic dimensions and a separate shallow area for non-swimmers. Separate diving towers with an extra-deep plunge pool invite you to try acrobatics and diving headfirst. For the little swimmers of tomorrow, there is a children's pool with a water depth of 10-40cm, a water mushroom, and a spraying seal. The new wide water slide promises both adrenaline and cooling off. A large sunbathing area with numerous beach chairs invites you to relax and soak up the sun.

In 2010, the Förderverein Freibad e.V. was founded, which since then has been dedicated to supporting swimming sports in Tönning and preserving the pool. Swimming lessons are offered by the DLRG local group Tönning/Eiderstedt e.V.
