Gasthaus & Ponyhof Holzmühle

Gasthaus & Ponyhof Holzmühle is a family-friendly farm with lots of hands-on activities centered on ponies and farm animals 🐴.

For children from 3 to 5 years and 8 to 12 years there are age-appropriate programs: themed afternoons (elf, fairy, and unicorn day) with indoor crafts, pony rides, a decorated snack plate, and short, supervised pony outings to the playground.

Highlights are pony birthday surprises, pony and carriage rides, and the full-day seminar «Pony Whisperer» – theory and practice with groundwork, obstacle course, loading training, and a final certificate. The farm often has foal births, Ouessant lambs, Dahomey miniature cattle, and other small livestock. Children may help with grooming, watch hoof care, and take home crafted keepsakes 🌼.
