Description

The Geisenhausener Museum offers a varied discovery journey for families, as it does not have a permanent exhibition but instead presents exciting changing exhibitions every one and a half years. This keeps each visit interesting and diverse.

Previous exhibitions have, for example, explained archaeological finds from the Stone Age – perfect for diving into the ancient history of the region with your children. Other exhibitions brought leather production in Geisenhausen to life and showed how important this craft was here.

The museum invites you to visit regularly – it is usually open on the first Sunday of the month from 3 to 5 pm. The doors also open on special market days announced in advance.

Group tours can be arranged individually so that families and school classes can explore the museum with exciting educational guidance.
