Description

At the Hasičské muzeum Josefa Eichhoffa, everything revolves around firefighting. This small fire brigade museum is housed in a former fire station from 1905 that has been completely renovated.

You'll also learn that the site was provided by Baron Josef Eichhoff, who also donated the bricks for the building. The building served as a fire station from 1905 to 1967, later as a scout hall, before it was slated for demolition.

On display, among other things:

  • A hand-operated fire pump
  • A two-wheeled motorized fire pump
  • Various types of firefighting equipment
  • A firefighter's uniform from an earlier era
  • Several dozen exhibits on the work of the local volunteer fire department

In addition, there are all kinds of other curiosities for you to discover during your visit.
