Description

Haus der Geschichte Dinkelsbühl is located in the historic Old Town Hall, where the city's affairs were managed for over 300 years.

The museum tells the exciting story of the former imperial city’s more than 800-year history – from its rise through internal conflicts and decline to touching stories from times of war and peace.

For children, there is an entertaining picture rally: At eleven stations throughout the exhibition, you can answer questions and explore history through play.

Additionally, the museum offers virtual tours so you can experience the exhibitions from home.

Dinkelsbühl itself is one of the best-preserved late medieval town layouts in Germany – a special place full of history!
