Description
Heimat-Tierpark Olderdissen, established in 1930 thanks to an initiative by the city forester, is set in a picturesque location in the Teutoburg Forest. Spanning 15 hectares, the park is home to around 450 animals from 100 species, including rare and endangered ones. Professional care allows for successful breeding. The zoo is open year-round and free of charge, making it a popular destination for visitors. The bear enclosure, in particular, attracts many people.
