Description

Heimathaus Walkmühle invites you to a historic cultural center originally built in 1730 as a fulling mill and now hosting exhibitions, lectures, courses, and cultural events.

At the museum, you can gain fascinating insights into past centuries and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the restored historic rooms.

The spacious area between the two arms of the Brenz River was once used by weavers and cloth makers to bleach fabrics – making the outdoor visit especially interesting.

The nearby Bleichestadel, a historic bleaching shed, was renovated in 2012 and now mainly hosts cultural events, enriching the offerings for families as well.
