Description

The Heimatmuseum Landau offers children and teenagers aged 6 to 16 years exciting insights into culture and history.

The museum regularly organizes themed special exhibitions and cultural events in the attic, providing variety and encouraging active participation. Teenagers get especially creative with exhibitions featuring drawings, photos, and for the first time, films.

A regional reading competition with twelve young participants promotes literary talent and inspires a love of reading. 🎨

The program was musically enriched by an evening concert celebrating Hildegard Knef's 100th birthday, featuring live chansons and piano music, which also appeals to families who love history and music.

Additionally, the museum publishes the Historischen Heimatblätter with richly illustrated articles on city anniversaries and local festivals – a wonderful treasure for everyone who wants to explore Landau’s history.
