Holländermühle Turnow is a special historic windmill featuring a regionally typical silo extension and working machinery from the 19th century.
During tours, you’ll learn all about the mill’s history and common technical terms, and experience a ride on the over 100-year-old freight elevator – a real highlight! 🌀
As a family-friendly destination along the Spree/Gurken bike route, the mill invites you to take a break in the round wooden shelter, where you can rest and be protected from wind and weather.
The program includes special events such as the Mill Festival on German Mill Day and Museum Night, offering cultural experiences for the whole family.
Bird lovers will enjoy seeing kestrels and barn owls nesting inside, as well as storks perched on the external support structure – nature included! 🦉
