Description
The Hornické muzeum Krásno is housed in a tin mine that was built during World War I. The exhibits tell the story of the region's mining history, and visitors can try out many things for themselves. 🚂
The first exhibition room is in a former building for sorting tin ore. There you can see a steam winding engine dating from 1897.
There is also plenty more to discover:
- Locomotives and wagons on tracks with a gauge of 450, 600 and 900 mm in the outdoor area
- A mine railway that runs between May and October
- A walk-in demonstration tunnel
- Exhibits on mine transport and mine rescue
- An environmental nature trail that is both educational and fun
A family ticket is valid for up to 2 adults and 4 children. Children under 4 enter free, and children under 15 receive a reduced ticket price.
