Hvězdárna a Planetárium Ostrava

The Hvězdárna a Planetárium Ostrava invites you to experience the universe up close. In the planetarium, dome shows surround you with the cosmos from all sides and appeal to both children and adults. 🌌

Interactive exhibits explain processes in space, on Earth, and beneath the Earth's surface, and invite you to get hands-on. Education in science and technology starts here at the earliest age.

The program also has plenty to offer families:

• Child-friendly dome shows such as „Se zvířátky o vesmíru“ (About the Universe with Animals) and „Bouřlivá planeta“ (Stormy Planet)
• Astronomical observations led by trained experts, who guide you through events in the night sky
• Music of all kinds, live or recorded, combined with projections of the universe

In this way, science, music, and dome images come together in a program that appeals to young and old alike. 🎶
