Description

The Industriemuseum Blaahaus Kiefersfelden offers a multisensory exhibition that brings the fascinating industrial history of the Bavaria-Austria border region to life for the whole family. Here you can dive into over 400 years of exciting history and discover how Kiefersfelden evolved from a small farming village into an important industrial site of regional significance.

With around 250 fascinating exhibits, you will find numerous interactive and multimedia stations, historical documents, and stories that make history come alive. The experience becomes especially vivid through five historical characters from various industries such as ironworks, cement factory, scythe hammer mill, mosaic setter, filter bag sewer, charcoal burner, and stonemason, who create a personal connection to history.
