The open space near the market square in Einbeck, created by a house fire, was transformed in 2020 into an attractive city center playground with a climbing wall.

This playground in the heart of the city offers seating areas with tables overlooking the pedestrian zone, and for teenagers, a low bouldering wall. A central open area provides plenty of space for group games, and at the back, there are various play options for climbing, sliding, and sand play.

The city center playground has a care program. It is supervised by at least two professionals for 15 hours each week during popular shopping and farmers market times.
