Description
The Jizerskohorské Technické Muzeum takes you on a journey through technology and history. It is housed in a listed former textile factory, whose restoration was supported by public and private donors.
The program includes, among other things:
- The Energy Exhibition in the original machine and boiler rooms of the former factory complex
- An Aviation Exhibition with aircraft engines and aviation technology from 1914 to the present, prepared with the Militärhistorischen Institut Prag
- An exhibition on Aircraft Accidents with small wreckage pieces of aircraft that crashed in the Jizera Mountains near the museum, including archaeological finds
- The Textile Production, whose exhibition is being prepared together with the Department of Textile Technologies of the Technische Universität Liberec
