Jüdisches Museum Shalom Europa

The Jüdisches Museum Shalom Europa brings Jewish life to light and experience – an exciting cultural adventure for all visitors.

On a tour with five stops, you will learn the basics of Judaism, its life and festivals, mourning and prayers, the Jewish history in Würzburg, and centuries-old Jewish tombstones.

The guided tours also include a visit to the Würzburg Synagogue, which can also be arranged individually. Particularly convenient: the public tours on various Sundays require no registration.

For school groups, there are tailored educational programs suitable for elementary schools, secondary schools, and high schools. The museum is supported by over 100 volunteer guides from both Jewish and non-Jewish backgrounds, providing rich and enlightening tours.

Especially moving is the free guided tour of the Jewish cemetery in Würzburg, offered without prior registration and providing deep insights.
