Království perníku

At Království perníku (Kingdom of Gingerbread), you can expect an interactive, immersive theater experience in which you become part of a shared participatory happening. Each guest takes on a role that matches their own skills and interests.

The performances are based on well-known fairy tales, literary works, and films, and are played by amateur actors under professional direction. Children can, for example, take part as Hänsel or Gretel, and characters such as Rotkäppchen, who hides from the wolf, also appear in the story. Singing is not only allowed but explicitly welcomed.

The experience begins with a parody of the Three Veterans (Tři veteráni) at a fairy-tale border checkpoint. There, visitors are welcomed and purchase their entry visa, which serves as a playful admission ticket. The experience also features its own playful language, called Perníkovština, which differs from standard Czech through Onikání.
