Description
On the guided tour of the Kraushöhle, you become cave explorers yourselves. The cave is considered the first electrically lit cave in the world and extends 340 meters into the Annerlbauernkogel.
The way there is an adventure in itself: a short hike through the NothKlamm and a brief climb along an alpine trail lead to the cave.
- The largest gypsum cave in the German-speaking world
- Europe's only show cave where hydrogen sulfide converts limestone into gypsum
- A place of superlatives, devoted entirely to the geology beneath the earth
If you're interested in rocks and the processes deep underground, you'll find plenty to see here.
