Kraut und Rüben

At the playground Kraut und Rüben, a special adventure awaits you right in the middle of nature 🌿. Kids can climb and play on equipment shaped like vegetables – including carrots and leeks – discovering the story of the vegetables that were once grown here through play.

The playground was created on a former vegetable-growing site that was part of the Federal Garden Show and is operated by the Workshop for Inclusive Work for the city of Düsseldorf. The area is surrounded by bushes like serviceberry, quince, medlar, and elderberry, creating a natural and welcoming atmosphere.
