Description

At the Kreismuseum Herzogtum Lauenburg, you’ll experience varied exhibitions on different topics related to history and culture. The museum features a fascinating collection, including a 19th-century pharmacy from Schleswig-Holstein, the studio of the Ratzeburg photographer Albert Hannig, and an exhibition about the lifestyle of the 1950s.

A special highlight is a cocktail dress worn in 1958 on the yacht of billionaire Aristotle Onassis – a captivating centerpiece from the 1950s.

Even during the renovation of the main building, the museum remains lively: in the historic northern coach house, you can continue to explore exciting exhibits and look forward to the regularly changing “Object of the Month” presentation.
