Description

The Kunsthaus im KunstKulturQuartier Nürnberg is a vibrant space for contemporary art and photography that focuses on current social issues. Regional and international artists showcase their work here, creating a space for exchange, reflection, and new perspectives.

A special highlight is exhibitions like “Jamel Shabazz – New York Moves”. They feature striking photos of Black communities and communities of color in New York City, revealing their life realities through powerful, empathetic portraits.

For families, there are family-friendly tours and events: Sunday tours, midday tours on the theme “My Neighborhood, the World!”, photo walks inspired by Jamel Shabazz, as well as special sensory tours for people with visual impairments.

Interactive programs like “Talking about art with Robert Peters” and a Designers’ Circle complement the offerings and encourage dialogue about art and social topics. This makes art directly accessible and invites participation and reflection. 🎨
