Want to try a different way to get around besides a bike? On the Marschenbahn-Draisine between Marne and St. Michaelisdonn, that’s no problem! You don’t completely lose the feeling of cycling as you travel by draisine through the countryside. This unusual vehicle is powered by a bike-like mechanism. The tracks of the old Marschenbahn wind through the picturesque natural landscapes of the Marsch and Geest. Thanks to a sail, you can also relax on the 9-kilometer tour when the fresh North Sea breeze is blowing.

Up to four adults or families with two adults and up to three children, depending on their ages, can fit on the draisine. Your four-legged friend is also welcome to join the ride!
