Mühlendorf Freilichtmuseum offers a historic village where children can discover the everyday life of earlier generations.
A special highlight at Advent time is the large Advent market with over 70 arts-and-crafts stalls 🎄 – ideal for gift and Christmas shopping with children.
In the „Lebendigen Werkstätten“ traditional crafts are demonstrated: blacksmithing, candle making, bread baking, spinning, engraving and more – often to watch and join in.
For short outings there is the family-friendly themed trail „Wasserkraft anno dazumal“ (ca. 1,5 km). Those who prefer longer walks will find the well-known 10-Mühlen-Wanderweg.
